SUDDEN DEATH
From the Harrison News, Ohio
November 22, 1883

Mrs. Jane D. McMurray, one of our oldest and well-known residents, died last Thursday about half-past one o'clock in the afternoon after a brief illness of about eight days, her disease being lung fever. She was buried the following Saturday afternoon in Glen Haven Cemetery, the services being conducted at her late residence by Rev. J.L. Glascock, of the M.E. Church of which the deceased was a member in good standing.

The deceased was a woman devoted to the true interests of her family, the members of which loved her with that love that a child has for a faithful, kind and indulgent parent, and her death is sadly mourned by those she left behind.
